Springing Forward

Dress: Brandy Melville | Bralette: Brandy Melville
Sandals: Forever 21 | Shades: Urban Outfitters

Hi hi again, everyone! Finals are right around the corner and so is my death, loljk. But anyways, I wanted to post an outfit now just in case I would be too lazy or busy to post in the future. Onto the outfit though! I think this outfit is pretty simple and straightforward. I wore a dress today because it is getting super warm here in LA! I paired up this sunflower pattern dress with brown sandals because I thought the yellow, white, and brown supplement each other well. I think you all can see that I really enjoy warm undertones. Now that it's approaching spring, I'm pretty excited to wear more shorts, dresses, and skirts! ... Mainly because I dislike wearing pants.

Until next time! Below is a photo of how I feel about finals week. Wish the other ladies and I luck!

Warm Tones

Top: Zara | Jeans: Tinseltown | Sandals: F21 | Bag: F21

Hello hello again, everyone! It's about time I create my second outfit of the day post ha ha ha whoops.. Anyways, I attended a birthday lunch with some friends today! It was a casual event, so I kept it simple today. But who says that you can't keep it fashionable even if you're being casual? That's why I paired a loose-fitted chiffon top with some high-waisted jeans (They're Tina's -- thanks homegirl!) and sandals. Since my top had a bold pattern, I knew I had to keep the rest of the outfit more plain. If there's too many patterns or vibrant colors meshed together, it could end in a disaster. I also didn't wear that many accessories because the focus of the outfit was on the torso. The bag I wore is pretty versatile: it can be sported at a clubbing event or can be toned down like the following outfit.

If you didn't notice, I dyed my hair ombre! As for the other parts of the look, I wore red lipstick because I thought it complimented the warm color scheme of my outfit.

To conclude, I hope you all are doing well. Finals season is approaching soon, so I'm going to crack down the hammer soon. It's like we never get a break here :(

So peace out, girl scout! My friends know that I throw up the peace sign.....a lot....
And with that, I leave you this photo.

A Smile Keeps the Fire at Bay

Crop Top: Forever 21 | Flannel: Uniqlo | Pants: Hollister | Shoes: Converse
Jewelry: Forever 21, Converse, Brandy Melville, Urban Outfitters

Hi everyone!
The title of this post was cheesy, but I asked Mags for a name, and so here it is. It's also because my photos were taken right next to a fire alarm.

I am so sorry that the blog hasn't been updated in awhile. I'm actually the reason why the blog hasn't been updated. The girls were waiting for me to upload my own post ha ha ha, oops... It's just cause I have been so overwhelmed with midterms! I have three next week, so I've been frontloading all my work so I don't have to stress last minute. I don't have much free fun time, and if I'm on the computer, it's because I'm doing homework. But I finally managed to squeeze in time to upload this! The struggle of being a college student is real. Other than that, I've been great, and it actually feels refreshing to be so on top of my work! Also, a quote that us four girls live by: "Stressed but always well dressed." It's a bit corny, but it's a good motto muahaha.

So! Onto the outfit of the day! I actually wore this outfit last week, OOPS. But shhh, that's okay. I usually like to sport comfortable clothing, so I decided to throw on some crop top with high waisted jeans. Just in case it would get a little chilly, I also thought it would be smart to incorporate a flannel. So if it was warm, I could just wrap it around my waist, or if I got cold, I could throw it on. Not to mention, I loooove flannels! They accompany any casual outfit so well! You know what also seems to match with any outfit? White converse. I think dark forest green and burgundy complement each other as well.

Anywho, I hope you have a fantabulous day and thank you for checking out the blog once again :)

Meet Angie

Nickname: Angie, TaYOLO (Yes I'm serious)

Hometown: Yokosuka, Japan but I live in San Jose, California now!

Style: I enjoy experimenting with different styles -- one day I can be completely dressed up and girly, and the next day I'll be rocking something more edgy. However, most days I like to be boho chic or casual and comfortable.

Favorite clothing/accessory item(s): I really can't get enough of crop tops and anything high waisted. I also have this strange addiction to quirky socks, even if I don't always wear them in public. My favorite accessories are rings and bracelets, especially braided or hemp ones!

Interests:  Of course I enjoy Netflix as a distraction from the stress of school (oops). I also like spending time with friends, biking, working out, and traveling.

Fun fact: I was born and raised in Japan for eight years! Then I moved to Belgium for another two, and Florida for four before I finally moved to California.
